Out of all our SG60 designs, this one holds a special place in our hearts — the 九层糕 (Nine-Layer Cake) Earrings. Inspired by one of the most nostalgic snacks in Southeast Asia, these earrings are a joyful celebration of colour, culture, and the sweet simplicity of growing up local.
Crafted from lightweight acrylic, each piece reflects the iconic stacked layers of the traditional steamed kueh — with vibrant shades of pandan green, coconut white, and playful pastel hues. Just like the real cake, they’re soft-looking, bouncy in spirit, and full of charm.
Known for its chewy, melt-in-your-mouth texture and served at festive gatherings, 九层糕 is more than just a dessert — it's a symbol of joy, abundance, and tradition. As kids, we loved peeling and eating it layer by layer (don’t lie, you did too!) — and now, you can wear that same playful spirit.
